to say given that we build them right here... Our
experience is a little different though and some what
more embarrassing. When the very first GTT's were built
we hooked one up that had been assembled into a line
cord to our server. Months passed before the first
thunderstorm, during which a lighting strike 300m away
resulted in considerable damage to our telephone system
and a number of computers. Most notably the UPS
protecting the server was damaged beyond repair. The
server however was not disturbed what so ever - a
mystery until it was noticed that the GTT was still
there protecting it."

your device on some problem installations that we have.
We recently installed a video system for a client which
had a 200’ run of underground cable. The first
thunderstorm damaged three out of the four cameras and
